Tired as a mug

My honey is coming home Friday =) He has been gone a month for training and I cant wait! I think I need to clean alot more though but I keep getting distracted .... like right now. Anyways I came up with this crazy idea for youtube but I need to get a webcam first ... and subscribers ! I hope I have it in me to do it. I am so tired right now my sleeping scedule is messed up because of some little crazy boy running aroun the house then get this. Next day he is up as a daisy just like he didnt keep me up all night and now I am the one with the problem. UGH!

I also lost my camera. By lost I mean I know where I put it but it was 'relocated' by somebody. Wonder who? I think it might have been thrown in the trash a few weeks ago because lately I have been finding things in the trash that do not belong there. What will I do with him? LOL.

Planning for Dinseyland

Thats right! We are planning a 3 day trip to Disneyland on Memorial day weekend. Hopefully I can get this done in the next few days! I just hope I can do everything dirt cheap! LOL. Its probably a 3 hour drive away so I dont know what I am going to do if we will leave on Friday night or just drive early in the morning. HMM.

Mother's Day in Palm Springs

It took a little over an hour to reach Palm Springs and it was well worth the drive. We stopped at ate a Wendy's before we went to the Children's Discovery Museum.Its been FOREVER since the last time we ate at a Wendy's! Alex liked their fries a lot and you have got to try their new coffee toffee shake it was delicious! MMM.



It cost us $16 to get inside the museum. We first came across a stringless musical harp and some kind of string obstacle course were alex just crawled under like crazy.



There was a thing with magnets, some kind of experiment with a fan, digging for dinosaur bones, playing dress up and a place to make your own fake pizza. My favorite parts were the play place to pretend your a vet, a shopping center that was child size and the arts and craft center. You could even paint an old car (a bug)!

Baking , cooking and budgeting.

I bake quite often. I love making cupcakes but I think my husband is all "cupcaked out" and now is having me makes brownies for him.I will be making a post each time I cook something new with the cost of what we had spent to make it. I try to cook everything once a week on Sunday and freeze it so I am not cooking everyday.

And so our summer starts...

Drew and I bought Alex a kiddie pool in the shape of a whale and water shoots out the blow hole. I set out the pool yesterday afternoon and Alex had so much fun! He kept trying to slurp up the water. Afterward Alex passed out and Drew had just come home, asking me to make dinner. I made BLTs for tonight... mmm.. they were really yummy.
